Why you should be reading this blog

Because I’m an interesting person with novel thoughts and experiences that I want to share with other people.

Hi there! My name is Eleanor Chin. Other people call me Ellie, Summer, Xiafei, Ka-hi, or Yeoreum. I’m a second-year student at California State University Long Beach.  My majors are Chinese and Asian Studies. My main passion in life is to live language.  As you probably saw by that list of nicknames, I love Asian languages. My dream job is waiting for me somewhere in Asia.  I took a gap year to study in Taiwan (for more on that, see http://www.castalianaccents.wordpress.com) and I fully intend to obey the orders set by Emirates airlines–to keep discovering. Let’s go together!

So come ! Take me over there
Give me your hand so I can’t hold it
Spread my wings , make me fly…
