My new fellowship group

My Japanese friend invited me. I was really excited to come (obviously), and also surprised, because I have heard of this ministry before–some of our homeschooling comrades, the Hamiter family, is involved with a group up north with the same name.

I feel a little strange coming, because I’m not one of these intriguing and special international people, but that feeling is minimized when I get to talk to everyone there. And I really like the hosts, too. Art, Jade, and Sue–they are doing ministry-work, but it doesn’t feel like they are preaching, or constantly trying to push for radical conversions, or always telling me things that I already know.  It’s new again.

Last week we had Chinese New Year together. It was really fun! And I even got a lucky dumpling. 🙂
